What's the best hydration pack for camping?

Hydration packs are sort of mini-backpacks that are used by hikers who don't want the hassle of a water canteen. Many of them have little hoses you can drink out of. The other plus is that they can carry a lot more water than traditional canteens. For hikers who are going out in the desert they can be a must, but they also give you a lot more range. In fact, a lot of people get them nowadays just for jogging or walking for exercise.

Outdoor Products Ripcord Hydration Packs - This is a 2 liter hydration pack, and it's also got a lot of different pockets, along with a place for an Ipod or a Walkman. The water bladder is designed from polyurethane, which is supposed to keep it from having any aftertaste. The pack itself weighs a little over a pound, and it's about eight inches high, so it's not that big an extra burden. It costs around $30 and is available online here

Camelbak Hydration Fanny Pack - This is a waist hydration pack that you wear like a belt. It's got pockets made to hold food, so you can carry around both water and some lunch with you. It's very light, weighing under a pound when empty and about two and a half pounds when filled with water. The downside: it doesn't carry that much water. This one is really best for shorter hikes or for if you're going running. It's not going to work that well if you are a serious hiker. It costs around $40 and is available online here.

Camelbak Cloud Walker Hydration Pack - This is a higher quality hydration pack that is made specifically for camping. It's got a 70 ounce reservoir, a bunch of little pockets for various kinds of things you might want when you're hiking, and a hands-free design. This is a pretty good one, and if you're going on frequent hikes I would take a look at it. The downside is that it's kind of expensive, coming in at about $53. You can get it online here.
